Taken Too Young

Never had the pleasure of meeting you Seamus but i know how much you are loved and missed by your family and friends. Look after your nephews and nieces and take care of them.

taken from our lives, but not from our hearts

we often sit and speak your name and think back to the good old days, as we grew up together, those memories will stay with us always and forever, my cousin seamus gone from our lives but not from our hearts xxx

Paul (Cousin) April 27, 2008

I have not turned my back on you,
so there is no need to cry.
I'm watching you from heaven,
just beyond the morning sky.
I've seen you almost fall apart,
when you could barely stand.
I asked the Lord to comfort you,
and watched him take your hand.
He told me you are in more pain,
then I could ever be.
He wiped his eyes and swallowed hard,
then gave your hand to me.
Although you may not feel my touch,
or see me by your side.
I've whispered that I love you,
while I wiped each tear you cried.
So please try not to ache for me,
we'll meet again one day,
beyond the dark and stormy sky,
a Rainbow lights the way.

Those we love remain with us
For love itself lives on,
And cherished memories never fade
Because a loved ones gone.
Those we love can never be
More than a thought apart,
For as long as there is memory
They'll live on in the heart..

growing up

brother can you remember
when i was still quite small
the fun we had, the talks we shared
looking - back we had it all

brother can i play with you
and wear your favourite shirt
will you let me throw the football once
i swear i won't get hurt

brother will you try and show me
how to drive a car
will you let me drive your brand new truck
i swear i won't go far

brother will you please wake up
open your eyes and live
i won't believe that you may die
you've got so much to give

brother i guess it's time to leave
the service is now through
i'll say one last prayer, one last good-bye
and one last I LOVE YOU
